This collection was donated by the Elsie Heiss estate in the 1980s.
We are exhibiting the collection March 21, 2010.

In addition to BCHS collections, the Bergen Button Club is exhibiting their collections.
A private collector is exhibiting "GW", a collection of buttons made at the time of George Washington's Inauguration, 1789.
Kevin Wright will be giving a lecture on the History of Women in Bergen County at 2 pm.
Bergen Button Club members will be giving lectures on "GW" and intro to buttons.
A children's sewing exercise is available in the Campbell-Christie House. Large buttons donated by Simply the Best Clothing, Teaneck.
