I just got this card on eBay for under $3.00 because the seller misspelled "Merritt" in his title and it didn't show up in "Camp Merritt" title searches. Only one other person bid on it. Both of us bid in the last 7 seconds.
Bob Griffin and I both have Camp Merritt collections (mine pales in comparison), but neither of us had ever seen this card before OR its format. As far as we know, all Camp Merritt cards have the information with the picture, but this one has it on the other side. It's almost like discovering a brand new 1918 card company that only made one card.
Obvious eBay tip: whatever item you're searching for, search for every possible spelling variation, misspelling, or abbreviation. You can get great bargains from seller errors - ESPECIALLY misspellings.
