The Hermitage Roundtable will meet Wednesday May 28 at 7:30 at the
Hermitage. Wendy Erickson, Master Gardener Liaison for the Hermitage, will
present "The Secret Garden: Uncovering the mysteries of the Hermitage
Gardens." We will take a tour of the gardens before the presentation.
Wendy will present an informative program on the continuing rehabilitation
of the Hermitage Gardens. Learn through photographs and illustrations what
gardening was like when the Rosencrantz family resided on the property in
the Victorian Era. Learn about Aunt Bess's garden and the herbarium
collections. Learn how you can grow your own Victorian garden!
This is the last Roundtable of the 2007-2008 season. It's time to plan
for next year's offerings. Do you have a topic you can present? Would
you like to research one of the social movements affecting the inhabitants
of the Hermitage? Do you know someone who could present an interesting
program? Remember that your research need not be complete. The group is
a good sounding board for work in progress.
