Join us today to welcome Governor Jon Corzine to HNBLDear Friend of Historic New Bridge Landing,
Governor Jon Corzine will visit Historic New Bridge Landing to ceremonially sign the Historic New Bridge Landing Park legislation, which recently passed the Legislature unanimously. The Historic New Bridge Landing Park Commission and the Bergen County Historical Society cordially invite you to attend the ceremony at the Zabriskie-Steuben House, 1209 Main Street, River Edge, at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2009. At 2 PM, the Governor will "unveil" the new sign changing the name of the North Hackensack NJ Transit station to New Bridge Landing. The Demarest House, adjacent to the Steuben House, which the Blauvelt-Demarest Foundation is presently restoring, will be open to show the great progress being made in preserving and interpreting this Revolutionary War battleground.
