About the Event
As we lead up to the 250th we have a presentation of BCHS collections that includes new information on the Washington Mourning Art and featuring a quilt made for the centennial founding of our country with George and Martha's portraits. Other selections include the Hopper Tavern sign, watercolors by a young woman from Oradell and a daguerrotype of a formerly enslaved woman. Presented by Deborah Powell, BCHS past president and museum collections chair.Â
