The event on August 1 runs from 9 am to 9 pm Eastern, with all tours broadcast at AmericasSummerRoadtrip.org.  There viewers will find the day’s schedule and preview videos.  After the live broadcasts, each tour will be archived on that page for future viewing.

The Bergen County Historical Society is excited to announce that Historic New Bridge Landing has been selected to participate in a new national event on August 1, “America’s Summer Roadtrip.”  Promising viewers that they will “travel across the country and through our nation’s history,” the day-long event will offer 12 live tours from 12 historic sites across the country.

“We’re thrilled to have been chosen,” said Carol Restivo, President of Bergen County Historical Society.  “This is a great opportunity for us to raise awareness and reach a broad audience. With visitations down all across the country, this will give people a chance to experience our site this summer, and we hope they’ll return next year in-person.” Conducted by leading expert guides, each tour will include a special behind-the-scenes look at something that visitors would not get to see even if they went in person.
