About the Event
Come celebrate Brigid’s Day and Candlemas with the Bergen County Historical Society on Sunday, January 26th, 1 pm- 4 pm at Historic New Bridge Landing 1201 Main Street, River Edge NJ.
The main room of the 273-year-old Steuben House will a feature three members of The Police Pipes and Drums of Bergen County; Brian Bruton, Jason Kangas, and Jon McMorrow, who will play in the Steuben House at 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. Each performance will consist of three Scottish/Irish Celtic Bass traditional tunes.
The non-profit service band was established in 1992. The Police Pipes and Drums of Bergen County perform at many Bergen County holiday parades and events. They most recently performed at the Bergen County Police Academy Class #133 graduation. They are recurring players in the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
