Come celebrate Brigid’s Day and Candlemas with the Bergen County Historical Society on Sunday January 28th, 1 pm- 4:00 pm at Historic New Bridge Landing 1201 Main Street, River Edge NJ.

For an hour enchantment at 2:00 pm, enjoy flutist Anwar “Notes” Overton as he plays to Irish tunes in the main room of the state historic 1752 Steuben House.

New exhibits from BCHS’s collections will also be on display in the Steuben House including selections of their salt glazed pottery and early chairs of Bergen County.

All three-18th century Jersey Dutch sandstone houses are open for tours throughout the day with knowledgeable interpreters who will share stories about the lives of earlier Bergen residents.

Take a peek at the treasures in the gift shop while you enjoy donuts and hot cider which will be available for purchase inside the tavern.
