Come dresssed for this fun-filled family event with take-away pumpkin picking and decorating, scare crow decorating, cider & donuts available in the Black Horse Tavern. Apple Tasting of a varieties of apples. Museum site open for tours!
Come celebrate fall with the Bergen County Historical Society at our Harvest Homecoming on Sunday October 20th 1 pm- 4:30 pm at Historic New Bridge Landing. 1201 Main Street River Edge NJ 07661.
 Activities for families include scarecrow making, free pumpkin picking and decorating, and a taste-testing of a variety of apples.
Tour 18th century Jersey-Dutch sandstone houses including the state historic 1752 Steuben House will be open for tours throughout the day.
On display for viewing in the Steuben House will be new exhibits from the society’s extensive collection including Revolutionary War artifacts.
Stop by the Westervelt-Thomas barn to see broom making and corn shelling demonstrations.
