Start off the holiday season at Historic New Bridge Landing as the Bergen County Historical Society celebrates Sinterklaas Day on Sunday, December 8th, 1 pm - 3 pm, 1201 Main Street, River Edge NJ.

The Jersey-Dutch sandstone house, the Campbell-Christie House will be open from 1-3 pm.

Be on the lookout for Sinterklaas and stop to take your photo with him.

At 2 pm BCHS Trustee Ariel Woll will be giving a Hanukkah presentation. She will demonstrate how the menorah is lit and will explain more about the history, traditions, and customs of the holiday.

Be sure to stop by The Blackhorse Inn to enjoy donuts, hot cider, and other seasonal treats.         

Don’t forget to visit the society’s authentic Jersey Dutch out-kitchen where interpreters will be making Dutch puff pancakes to display among a table of other Dutch holiday goodies.
