The Bergen County Historical Society in River Edge, NJ invites the public to join their members on Sunday, November 9^th at 1 pm for a Veterans Day wreath laying ceremony.

Each year on the Sunday before Veteran’s Day, the Bergen County Historical Society in River Edge, NJ conducts a wreath laying ceremony at a local war memorial or military site to honor those who have served in the armed forces and to raise the public’s awareness of these memorials throughout Bergen County.

This year the historical society has chosen the Veteran’s Memorial Park located on Continental Ave in River Edge for this honor.

 A brief ceremony will take place at the wreath laying and guests are invited to share the name of their ancestor/friend, if they wish, who served in the armed forces.
