The Bergen County Historical Society in River Edge, NJ invites the public to join their members on Sunday, November 6th from 10:00 am -10:45 am for a Veterans Day wreath laying ceremony.

Each year on the Sunday before Veterans Day, the Bergen County Historical Society in River Edge, NJ conducts a wreath laying ceremony at a local war memorial or military site to honor those who have served in the armed forces and to raise the public’s awareness of these memorials throughout the county.

This year the historical society has chosen the Paramus Veteran’s Home in Paramus located at 1 Veterans Way for this honor.

A brief ceremony will take place at the wreath laying and guests are invited to share the name of their ancestor/friend, if they wish, who served in the armed forces.
