Come celebrate Washington’s Birthday with the Bergen County Historical Society on Sunday, February 22^nd 1 pm- 4:30 pm at Historic New Bridge Landing.

The Tricorne Dance Ensemble which is under the direction of dance mistress Denise Piccino will be performing an hour-long program that will celebrate General Washington through song and dance in the state historic 1752 Steuben House at 1:30 pm and 3 pm. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Ridley and Anne Enslow on the fiddle and hammered dulcimer. Space is limited for each performance.

Also, on display in the Steuben House will be selections from the society’s Washington collection as well as artifacts from the Revolutionary War.

• Visit the gift shop while you enjoy seasonal refreshments which will be available for purchase inside the tavern.  

• Our Jersey Dutch out-kitchen interpreters will be preparing a Cheshire pork pie, orange chess pie, and syllabub using 18^th century recipes.
